2nd European Mineral Processing and Recycling Congress (EMPRC) 2020
The 2nd EMPRC is held from 14 to 17 June 2020 in Aachen. It focuses on all aspects related to the mechanical and physico-chemical processing of both primary and secondary raw materials including process technology, raw materials and general topics such as process economics, sustainability and social and political acceptance. In comparison to EMPRC 2018, the circle of participants and the internationality will be further increased and the congress will be complemented by an exhibition.
The conference is organized and held by invitation of GDMB, Society of Metallurgists and Miners, and is particularly directed to companies, institutes, plant manufactures, equipment suppliers and service providers active in the field of mineral processing and recycling all over the world.
GDMB, the Society of Metallurgists and Miners invites 2020 to the 2nd EMPRC in Aachen, a spa and border city in North Rhine-Westphalia located in a former coal-mining area near the borders with Belgium and the Netherlands. The city hosts a rich historic heritage worth to explore and is today an important center of science, innovation, engineering and information technology.
The Scientific Committee Chair, Professor Tobias Elwert, cordially wishes all the very best for EMPRC 2020 and hopes that many lecturers and participants will find their way to Aachen for an extensive exchange of knowledge and experience.
Call for Papers
Prospective authors wishing to present papers are invited to submit the title, the name(s) of the author(s) and an abstract of approx. 400 words (in English). 2nd EMPRC Exhibition
In conjunction with the 2nd European Mineral Processing and Recycling Congress – EMPRC 2020, an exhibition will be organized. This provides an excellent opportunity for attendees/delegates of processing plants and delegates of equipment manufacturers/service suppliers to discuss potential solutions, to solve actual problems or further upgrading of plant components/equipment. The exhibition represents a volatile vibrant market place for communication of technical staff, management, consulting experts, university delegates and an extension of the technical lectures to the real hardware or software related questions.
