Screw weigh feeders for precise and controlled feeding
 
To reduce the use of expensive primary fuels like coal and oil in the energy-intensive cement production, operators focus increasingly on alternative fuels and raw materials. Lafarge Zementwerke GmbH – a company of the LafargeHolcim Group – has had a new CEO since 01.07.2020. Berthold Kren (49), previously responsible for Geocycle Asia at LafargeHolcim, succeeds José Antonio Primo, who will take over the further development of carbon capture projects in Europe for LafargeHolcim.

Following the successful implementation to date of the Group strategy “Strategy 2022 – Building for Growth”, the management of Holcim Switzerland and Italy will be handing over the reins in October: Nick Traber has decided to take up a new challenge abroad and will leave the LafargeHolcim Group after 18 years. He will hand over his position as CEO Holcim Switzerland and Italy to Simon Kronenberg, who is currently Head Commercial.
