In 2019 the customer demonstrated its confidence in Maerz technology by ordering a third Maerz kiln for its lime plant.

Following the successful implementation to date of the Group strategy “Strategy 2022 – Building for Growth”, the management of Holcim Switzerland and Italy will be handing over the reins in October: Nick Traber has decided to take up a new challenge abroad and will leave the LafargeHolcim Group after 18 years. He will hand over his position as CEO Holcim Switzerland and Italy to Simon Kronenberg, who is currently Head Commercial.
