1. Can I combine Full-text search and Topology search?

Full-text search and Topology search can be combined very effectively. The topological attributes Minor Dimension and Major Dimension are particularly suitable to filter certain characteristics.

Example:

  1. Under Full-text search, enter the desired search term.

  2. With a click on the arrow keys , open the area with enhanced search methods and click on Topology search.

  3. Click on Size and then under Major Dimension, enter >130.

    Not only fixed values are allowed, but also the use of boolean operators.

    x-y

    or alternatively in order to state tolerances w+-t as well

    Example:

    29000-30000 or 29500+-500

  4. Click on Start search.

  5. Open the Part view and in the 3D view, Measuring grid.
