Trees are a great help in filtering pollutants out of the air. With their needles and leaves, they take the climate-damaging carbon dioxide and split it into oxygen and carbon. They release the oxygen back into the air and store the carbon in the wood. And this oxygen is essential for our survival. A healthy, large tree produces as much oxygen as ten people need to breathe. And one hectare of forest stores around 5 tonnes of CO2 per year. So let's protect our trees and forests wherever we can. And let's do a little "work" for them by minimising our carbon footprint!

When transporting goods by sea, long distances have to be covered, often in extreme weather conditions ⛈🌪 Labels are used to reliably label goods of all classes, e.g. hazardous substances or toxic chemicals, in accordance with GHS. Our new ZM1 variant PICOFILM WO-110 matt ZM1 (8003) is the perfect choice for this. The FACESTOCK BOPP film is matt coated on the front for variable information printing (V.I.P.) with water-based inkjet and topcoated on the reverse for increased adhesive anchorage. Thanks to its thickness of 115 µm, it is particularly suitable for large-format labels (A4 and larger) as it is especially robust and tear-resistant.

How sustainable is ENDURO? These 3 facts stand for sustainability in the ENDURO range: 💚 ENDURO has a high paper content and therefore consists largely of renewable raw materials. This means: Only as much film as necessary, but as less as possible! ♻ The paper fibres used can be recycled. The film can be separated and thermally recycled. 🌳 All ENDURO types are FSC®-certified, i.e. only paper from sustainable forestry is used.

With ARTYSIO it is possible to produce stand-up pouches using two different production methods: Once for all plannable runs in the production “print&pack“, or completely flexible on demand in the production “pack&print“! The so-called pack&print variant is suitable for all small, highly flexible customer orders of up to 10,000 pieces and represents a completely new benchmark in the industry. This ARTYSIO variant significantly shortens the delivery time of the current digitally printable stand-up pouches. Customers do not need own pouching equipment, nor do they place production orders. Just order the premade bags and print directly as required! It couldn’t be easier or faster!

It pinches when you stand up, your neck is tense - most people will be familiar with it: back pain. 💥 We want to prevent this: whether it's sitting for long periods in the office or heavy lifting in our production facilities, it's not always possible to avoid strain on the back. The magic word to prevent back problems is MOVEMENT! 🤸♂️ In addition to ergonomics coaching, which has shown employees how they can perform frequent movements more gently, the "Moving Break" has been established at our company since September 2023. With Liesa Benner from Physio Terstappen, our employees can spend half an hour on Monday afternoons doing targeted exercises to loosen up their neck, shoulders and back. And anyone who has specific complaints can talk to the physiotherapist about them afterwards. The programme has been very well received and is very popular, so much so that after a trial phase it has been firmly integrated into the daily work routine.

"Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming one of our clients, Interfas SA, to our facility in Düren, where we had a special sales meeting together. 🌟 One highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the exclusive tour of our state-of-the-art production facility, guided by our Head of Production & Technology, Jannis Wolski. 👨🔧🏭 During the tour, Interfas gained insight into the production of our high-quality thermal film, which they regularly source from us. This thermal film is known for its exceptional tear resistance and is used, among other things, for clothing hang tag labels. 👕💼 Following the production tour, an intensive exchange took place as part of a sales and marketing workshop focusing on non-SKS labels. 📊🏷️ The well-deserved break was enjoyed with a shared lunch in our cafeteria. 🍽️ To combine business with pleasure, Interfas employees then set off to explore the historic center of Aachen, where they ended the day with a relaxed dinner at the Elisenbrunnen. 🏰🌃 It was a wonderful opportunity to deepen our partnership and work together on future projects.
