2 weeks = 8 nights = 38 alumni = a world of wisdom (We.Q)!

WeQ = More than IQ!
Adapting to the "new normal", we had to let go of our much loved tradition of face to face speed dating alummi career events. We scaled up to two full weeks of career talks! Each evening covered a different topic. We learned about various career paths, companies, career decisions, words of wisdom. It was a unique opportuniy to meet KLU alumni, and to network with them via Zoom. The event offered a platform for discussing best practices for successfully shaping careers targeting current students, alumni, and KLU friends alike.

Feb 26 (Fri) 06:30 - 08:30 p.m. (CET) Internship Program Info Session

Our speaker was Geoffrey Tani (KLU Career Services).

Event Set-up

The first part consisted of a number of personal alumni speaker pitches where alumni were invited to share with the audience what they deem to be of importance to share (words of wisdon, their career paths, work fields, info about their employer, etc.) followed by a 15 min Q&A Panel.

In the second part there were 10 - 15 min small group discussions in break out rooms. Speakers were automatically switched from one room to the next to allow small group speaking time with all break out room groups.

The third part invited all participants after the wrap-up to stay a little longer to mix and mingle maybe even with a virtual after session beer till approx. 8:30 to 9 pm ;o). In truth, it was mostly 9 pm.

Participants were asked to provide their questions beforehand during the registration process. However, most discussions were sparked ad hoc during the sessions.
